A thread was created to explain what the roles of editors, moderators and administrators are. Along with that is information of what we can and can't do and answers to some frequently asked questions. https://lyricstranslate.com/en/forum/lyricstranslate-guidelines/all-staf...
However, I've been meaning to open a thread for all users to come in and ask questions about why certain decisions are made. All moderators are welcome to leave a comment but I feel like this will only work if we keep it one to one. I will tag mods if I come across anything I might not know the answer to. Just a little info before we start:
- I've been a moderator on this site since 2013 (joined in 2012), 8 years of being a moderator.
- Main languages I will participate it: English / Spanish. My profile gives you an idea of what else I can handle. Feel free to take a look at that.
Keep it civil, that's all I ask. Of course, also keep the rules in mind but I don't think I need to remind anyone of that.
1. Ask a question = receive an answer
2. Users may not answer questions, since this is supposed to be a 'ask a moderator' thread.
3. Names will not be disclosed, nor is any staff member allowed to disclose them. Why? we're avoiding retaliation against the staff (especially native speakers) who were asked to look into something or they themselves brought something to our attention that ended in something being unpublished.
