Tłumaczenie (angielski)

It all seems kind of meaningless unless that last line is "the wave is just like you are", ie, the author is describing someone who drags you into the(ir) depths.

edit: I mean it literally goes "just like you are, the wave", I don't see the need for more morbid interpretations
