Hi, your translation is well done, but I think in the sentence
"Und dein Bett ist überzogen" it does not literally mean "overdrawn/excessive". The normal german expression would be "Und dein Bett ist bezogen", that means it has all the linen properly and is not in a mess. But why "überzogen" - I only guess it might be a pun with other words like "überfällig" - or maybe it is there because of the numbers of syllables needed...who knows.
"Doch wir machen das" is present tense, and "I’m think about what I need" - is that so in english?!
Oh, mein Gott, Carlo! Was war das?
