FAKK

Check your limit man, don’t come to me with shit
Your credit, your skills, your thing, your hype
You’re smarter than the police allow
You copied your awesome style from HUGO

You’re the shining light a real hobby Hitler
Love starting fights on Twitter early in the morning
Out of the luxury limo and right into the jet
State power, porno party, real nice and wicked

You’re the mega boss, you have to be a killer
And when they kick in really hard1, you snort even more
You drive a Ferrari with the bitches from the bar
Only the finest, dude
Come on

FAKK, you're getting on my nerves
FAKK, I hate you and your pack
FAKK, brother, do you know who I am?
FAKK, I FAKK your thing
FAKK, I hate your shit
FAKK, better bring your mother with you
FAKK, dude, do you know who I am
FAKK, I FAKK your thing

Pump yourself up dude, inflate your ego
Tax fraud with sex, put down another million
Public enemy number 1, you tough fucker
End boss, little man, all the blind ones

You live your survival in your madhouse
Dream of world power, show us a fist bump
You go all out, only with the best
Always there for every beautiful scandal

You're supershit, you have to be a killer
The world is not enough, come smash it to pieces
Too big to fail, intoxicated by yourself, high
Dude don't you know how to have fun?
I'll teach you

FAKK, you're getting on my nerves
FAKK, I hate you and your pack
FAKK, brother, do you know who I am?
FAKK, I FAKK your thing
FAKK, I hate your shit
FAKK, better bring your mother with you
FAKK, dude, do you know who I am?
FAKK, I FAKK your thing

You big yourself up, what's the point?
I blow away all your bullshit
And send you back home
Home to mama
Home to mama

FAKK, you're getting on my nerves
FAKK, come, go away, get lost
FAKK, brother, do you know who I am?
FAKK, I FAKK your thing
FAKK, I hate your shit
FAKK, better bring your mother with you
FAKK dude, take a good look
FAKK, I FAKK your thing
FAKK, I FAKK your thing
FAKK

The last line of “FAKK ich FAKK deinen Shit” should be “FAKK ich hasse deinen Shit”. Not sure why they have FAKK instead of hasse in the lyrics on their YouTube post but they say hasse not FAKK there 🤷🏻‍♀️

So, I’ve been doing some digging online trying to figure out the “cum ex mit Sex”, line, and I’m pretty sure it’s referring to CumEx, a huge tax scandal that was based in Germany.

GeneralWertGeneralWert    Sun, 17/01/2021 - 11:03

Thank you, added it as tax fraud in the hungarian version.

GeneralWertGeneralWert    Sun, 17/01/2021 - 11:02

Hi!
Just finished the hungarian translation, your work was really helpful, thank you. Yet, after two hours of english-german slang searching I have some differences as well:
1. Your forget to translate "komm mach dich weg schieb ab" and "Alda schau mal richtig hin" in the last refrain.
2. "besoffen high" misses a comma, I think it should be "drunk and high", otherwise, high is pointless.
3. "Alda blas dich richtig auf" is I think "dude, get sucked properly".
4. " Endboss kleiner Mann die ganzen Nichtsblicker" gave me a headache. I translated it "The final boss, the little man, everybody is confused"
The boys were not kind to us :D

Thank you so much for all the comments! This is definitely the hardest Eisbrecher song I've ever translated! :)

>"... blas dich richtig auf" means smth. like: "inflate your ego"
>"... voll ich-besoffen, high" means smth like " just excited about yourself, high"
>" Alda, kannst du kein Spaß?" = "Dude, don't you know how be funny?" (suggestion)

Thank you, modified, the hungarian one. Can you help with "Endboss kleiner Mann die ganzen Nichtsblicker"? In the original lyrics, under the video, there are no commas, so how should it be understood?

LilmonLilmon    Thu, 21/01/2021 - 15:39

It seems like there are no commas in the lyrics at all. I don't really understand why they decided to do that since it makes it harder to read, and from a grammatical point, it's incorrect to leave out some of those commas. But it's their song, so it's their artistic freedom to do so.

For better understanding, I would definitely add the commas, so it reads "Endboss, kleiner Mann, die ganzen Nichtsblicker" since it seems to be an enumeration.

Endboss -> final boss, like in a video game

kleiner Mann -> literally small man or little guy, it's used in a political sense here, so it describes an ordinary person who is not wealthy, famous, or powerful, like when politician say that they make politics for the little guy, and not (just) for the social elite.

Nichtsblicker -> it comes from "etwas blicken" which is a casual way of saying "to understand" or "to realize" and "nichts" (nothing), so a Nichtsblicker is a person who has no idea what's happening around them. (I think it's also used in a somewhat political way here. My take is that the whole verse (at least in some parts) describes someone who is very rich and uses his money to exercise (political) power. So this person is quite the opposite of the little guy who are the "Nichtsblicker" because they don't know what the rich and powerful ones do behind closed curtains. So I personally think "the blind ones" might actually be a good translation for that.)

Hello anyone who reads the comments. May I ask for some help with a line? The line "Und kommt es megakrass, ziehst du dir noch mehr rein" confuses me. Can someone explain it to me and why it becomes "And when it's going great you pull yourself in deeper". Thank you!

LilmonLilmon    Thu, 21/01/2021 - 15:40

I think that line is not translated correctly. "Sich etwas reinziehen" is a very casual way to say that you're "consuming" something very quickly. You can use that expression with food, tv shows, but also with drugs. So "Ich ziehe mir einen Burger rein" means something along the lines of "I'm scarfing down a burger", and "sich eine Line reinziehen" means " to snort a line".

I'm tempted to think that, in this context, it refers to drugs, so I'd suggest:

-> And when they (the drugs) kick in super hard, you snort even more (lines).

My mistake! I thought "rein" meant "in" in this sentence. Thanks so much for the correction, that makes so much more sense! :D

LilmonLilmon    Thu, 21/01/2021 - 15:42

No worries. Glad I could help :)

I'd say "rein" is more of a colloquial form of "hinein" or "herein".

“Hobby Hitler” sounds colorful. What is ams the why and what does it mean?

sarcasmcupcakessarcasmcupcakes    Thu, 04/02/2021 - 11:49

I'm thinking a reference to the rise of the alt-right across the world. The AfD Party in Germany, who are just this side of the Nazis.

iBOWERSiBOWERS    Mon, 01/03/2021 - 04:08

Hey everyone. I joined for the single purpose to explain what I believe this refers to. To me.. it feels obvious that America is the target of this song. Think back to WW1 when the German nation was left in rubble and ruins. Not to mention they rise to power once again yet only to tragically fall.. again. Somehow some way the United States has always had it hand in playing with other countries and their affairs. I would have possibly thought differently until they make the comment "super shit," which I feel sure refers to the fact that the US considers itself the "super power of the world." I think the mixed up msgs and the fact that there are lyrics referring to Hitler and always being there for scandals refers to the USA having constant need to involve itself in every other nations problems acting like its there for guidance and to help govern being the super power that it is. Why I say this.. bc I'm from the US and know first hand we're the masters of propaganda. We gained so much from WWII and somehow even though we managed to show up towards the end we took credit from the thousands of lives the Russians sacrificed towards winning. In the end.. want to know what a self proclaimed "Super Power" looks like.. it looks like the false world we live in.. and I say we as am American. Our country is messed up. It fronts like its the strongest but guess what. Talk about covid.. talk about riots and violence in our streets.. talk about being able to organize a riot even a little close to our white house where the strongest man in the world (for at least the next four yrs at a time lives).. We as a ppl I believe have never felt so broken and ruined and so what's better than to act like all is good..? It is the "free American way" isn't it? Lol if other countries only knew.. I don't have a problem with my country but I do. Bc I truly believe somehow we've succumbed to power the same way our power drunken predecessors apparently did only this time its right.. but is it? Maybe not but we'll pretend and carry on and continue to pump that good old entitled American ego right on up and show the world when we flourish and our power right on up to the point when it realizes that.. shit.. they don't have anything under control and continue demonstrate things that are completely hypocritical to the ideas they claim are correct. Does that make the US a joke? Who knows but FAKK it anyways right. That much is clear.. maybe I'm wrong but the word FAKK has no literal German translation and only means FAKK in German. Kinda strange how to me I heard the song and loved it and somehow couldn't help but notice.. it kinda sounds like us Americans are being told to go FUCK ourselves right??

sarcasmcupcakessarcasmcupcakes    Mon, 01/03/2021 - 14:23

I think this particular anger can be directed at many parties; your idea is definitely a valid one.

I'm an American who's been overseas for 11 years now with no plans to live there again. Hell, I'm a radical leftist (in the US overton window, at least) from the damn Bible Belt.

Yankistan considers everything to the left of hunting the homeless for sport Radical Communism™ anyway, might as well read some ✨Lenin✨ since you’ll be accused no matter what you believe. 💖 State communism, libertarian socialism, bourgeois liberalism, it’s all the same to them.

For anybody else reading the comments... could someone please break down in English or German what "Du gehst voll drauf, nur von oben mit dabei" may mean? I know draufgehen can mean to die, but the 'voll' interjected in the middle is confusing and the other half 'nur von oben mit dabei'... 'just involved from above?' 'just associating with the elites'? Usually when I find unusual phrasing I google it to find additional examples and context clues but "gehst voll drauf" and "nur von oben mit dabei" seem to only exist in this song...

You go all out, run it from top level

Ok, so it is more of a “going all out” sentiment than a dying sentiment. Thank you!! 😁
