Translations of "Группа крови (Gruppa..."

this translation is perfect for the best translation of proper meaning of the lyrics from what I understand. do note tho that it doesnt mean dogtag instead of sleeve. viktor is speaking of a practice used by soviet forces, theres not alot of information on patches issued until recently in russian/soviet service for bloodtype but alot of soldiers would get it tatoo'd on themselves, tho it wasnt anything common for the military or nessisary for service, serial number is probably more about just ryhming for the song i dont think the soviets did that. they did also have dogtags but they did not have the soldiers bloodtype on them im not 100% what the medical system was for blood but the soviets didnt have the capacity to issue blood in the field like other armys did so It was most likely relied on that they would have relevant information at a field hospital. usually its a hospital type thing anyway because in the field soldiers would be issued plasma instead if they lost a large amount of blood because it was easy to transport by medics and was proven to be more effective in the chaotic setting. viktor disliked the soviet military and the entire album the song is in is very political. it is mostly just suppose to give the idea to people that there were men who died and were dying for a pointless war.
Perhaps instead of sleeve (direct translation) it should be dog tag - since that is what is meant. I also, although direct translation would be blood group - think blood type is more proper. Enjoy!
