اغلب دل‌َ‌م می‌خواست شاه می‌بودم
می‌کردم هر آن چه که میخواستم
اگر شاه بودم به اسپانیا
به باران برمی‌داشتم کلاهَ‌م را
اگر شاه بودم به فرانسه
شانه نمی‌کردم مویَ‌م را به دستور ِ خاله
اگر شاه بودم به یونان
می‌انداختم چیزها را از روی پیشخوان
اگر شاه بودم به نروژ
از فیل‌ها میخواستم نکنند قِژقِژ1
اگر شاه بودم به بابل
نمی‌بستم دکمه‌های دستکش‌م [به کام ِ دل]
اگر شاه بودم به تیمبوکتو2
چه خوش کارها که نمی‌کردم آن تو
