Released in January 21, 1984 as their second single, this song reached #2 in Oricon chart with 672,000 sales. This is their second highest selling song. Although it "only" reached #2 in weekly chart, but at the end of the year this song reached #4 in Oricon yearly chart (4th highest selling song of 1984). The success of this song also affected their 1st (*that didn't sell well, but people started to buy it again once The Checkers became popular and that song re-climbed Oricon chart) and 3rd singles so The Checkers had all their three songs occupied top 10 of Oricon chart at the same time back then. More importantly, this song brought them to their first Kohaku Uta Gassen in 1984.
