Freda told me that it's really hard to tell because some of the words are Spanish--for instance: "dimelo hay un"(tell me, there is a); "partir y ir al"(leave and go to) but most of the rest of it is "Unknown".
Probably because this group members of Gipsy Kings are from France and speak a mixture of Spanish, French, Italian, Crio and probably Romanian. So it's hard to understand their songs because they were just kind of making up their own languages.
Freda also provided me this information: There is a Gypsy language dictionary called "Gypsy Jib" that talks about how they would use different language techniques to protect their secrets. http://www.gypsy-jib.com/index.htm

Gipsys all over the world share almost the same weird way of life and culture. They're very special people sometimes also referred to as nomads. I'm from Iran, in southwest part of my country we also have gipsys who lead almost the same odd method of life. They are usually in motion, they cannot be established and bound to live in a certain place, they love and live their own music. and fun. They always live a happy easy going life. I think that is why their music and language is not normally limited to one country or one nation. They don't consider themselves to belong to one fixed region, so they were gradually spreadt and scattered all over the world. Despite their minor local differences, all share some basic features commonly prevalent among them.
