Mil pasos
A thousand steps (Mil pasos)
One step, I leave forever
One strong step
One step forward
Two steps, I leave without looking at you
So far I stepped
Two steps, and I already forgot you.
Three steps, I am already toward the east,
To the south, to the west.
Three steps, I think it's a lot, It seems to me
*chorus*
And when will you be back?
--I will not return
When will you be back?
--I'm so far away already
When will you be back?
One day or never.
And when will you be back?
--I took the first step
When will you be back?
--Above all, don't wait for me
When will you be back?
One day or never.
Four Steps, I want to remember
Four Steps, I already know
You loved me, I loved you.
Five steps already, without losing myself
So far away I walked
Five steps and I forgave you.
Six steps already, almost seven
I don't know how to count more than that
A thousand steps and more, I keep standing.
*chorus*
And when will you be back?
--I will not return
When will you be back?
--I'm so far away already
When will you be back?
One day or never.
And when will you be back?
--Above all, don't wait for me
When will you be back?
--I took the first step
When will you be back?
One day or never.
One step, two steps, three steps, four steps, five steps ...
A thousand Steps ...
*chorus*

Good translatiom. Pabloli, but you must double check your French quotations or otherwise, leave them in the original. For instance:
* Chorus: "I will never return ..."
*Next stanza: "And (most of all/particularly)... don't wait (for me)
I must say I am not an espert in French but these lines are clear to me.
Thanks for your help, and you can see that I know nothing about french :p
Gracias a ti.
Seems that I am not an "expert" in English either!
Never mind, I did not notice that, what caught my attention is "Good translatiom"... :p
But don't worry, since it's not your mother tongue and I did understand what you mean.
Spell error happends... at least to me, all the time :p
I think this is an excellent translation, if you do not count on the French part :) which I know poorly :D
Me gusta la canción!!
The French part may not be perfect, but makes sense.
Well done, Pabloli
Thanks to both of you...
It makes sense, does not it? That's the most importantant thing. :p
Surtout ne m'attends pas : Most importantly/above all/whatever you do, don't wait for me
The other French parts are fine :)
Many thanks to crimson_antics...
I did my best, and you guys kindly help me to improve it~
You're welcome :)
Either Most importantly OR whatever you do, though.
Well... thanks again, so, there you go~
Great
