The girl from Shalabi

The girl from Shalabi
with eyes like almonds
I love you from my heart
my love, you are my everything
I love you from my heart
my love, you are my everything

Destroy the arches
my beloved is waiting
Breaking hearts,
my dear it's hard for me
Breaking hearts,
my dear it's hard for me

you show up shining yet the heart is wounded
days of joy come and they go

under the pomegranate tree
My love spoke to me
let me hear the melodies
oh my eyes (love)
charm me
let me hear the melodies
oh my eyes (love)
charm me

I think "حد القناطر" means 'near the arches', with "حد" referring to the proximity of the place, at least in that dialect, and correct me if I'm mistaken please.

I also think that "الشلبية" doesn't actually refer to a place but is simply a word for "beautiful" in the Palestinian dialect. If I'm not mistaken, the word was commonly used around Jerusalem at one point
