Смущает (меня) ‘to the bank’. А в такой песне ничего смущать не должно... Может, ‘to bold shore’?
Так это же берег реки - a river bank, там же Волга, я полагаю. Когда река большая, можно сказать the shore. Тут все нормально.
Первоначально скорее, река Угра — Исаковский родом из тех мест :)
И всё же боюсь, ‘To the bank would often come Katusha‘ будет предметом для прикола. Дескать, в банк частенько заходила... Или это только мне так кажется?
