Light
Dim dam talé lam, the noise
Goes away into Eternal Light
And Gustave guards the dome
Dilim dili lili lam
Lutetia will sing her dolilom destiny
Dim dim da dada dim dim da dada dim da lilam
Dim dim da dada, dim dim da dada, dim da lilam
Up there
Will be delighted
The rooftops like a Renoir painting
Will leave scratch marks
Light and Shadow
Blurring from a crossing-out, the Eiffel will bend
Light and Shadow
Guarded painting, it will be lost without her
Light and Shadow
Blurring from a crossing-out, the Eiffel will bend
Light and Shadow
Guarded painting, it will be lost without her
In the Light and Shadow
Troubled erasure
Light and Shadow
Guarded painting
Light and Shadow
Blurring from a crossing-out, the Eiffel will bend
Light and Shadow
Guarded painting, it will be lost without her
Light and Shadow
Blurring from a crossing-out, the Eiffel will bend
Light and Shadow
Guarded painting, it will be lost without her
In the Light and Shadow
Troubled erasure
Light and Shadow
Guarded painting
Hmmmm hmmmm hmmmm
Light and Shadow
Blurring from a crossing-out, the Eiffel will bend
Light and Shadow
Guarded painting, it will be lost without her
Light and Shadow
Blurring from a crossing-out, the Eiffel will bend
Light and Shadow
Guarded painting, it will be lost without her

How did you make the translation? You don't list French as a language you know.
I studied French in elementary and middle school until I was forced to switch to English like everyone else. I didn’t mention French earlier because most of my translations are from Japanese, English, and Korean into Russian. Right now, French is a half-forgotten language for me, so I didn’t include it in my profile.
Dude his translation made way more sense than yours, like what the hell is that translation, i understood nothing from it
They decided to make up what the conlang / Pseudo-Latin part meant, while I had decided to keep it as is.
The guy who didn’t list french as a language made an infinitely better translation than you
You don't know that.
If I had made up what the part in pseudo-Latin meant, you wouldn't have criticized me, you only do because I chose to only translate what was known.
Also, the translator did mistakes in interpreting the parts in French.
While I think your translation is far more accurate, Grape's version seems to be blending elements of the game that this song is part of the soundtrack of to fill in the blanks left by the pseudo-Latin.
I won't say that what their démarche was wrong, and if I had been more active on LT AND had played the game (unfortunately my computer can't handle it), I would probably have found a way to at least suggest translations for the conlang or pseudo-lang, or used community effort etc. I wouldn't have criticized it if that were the issue.
I simply asked a question about their competence with French since they didn't list it among their known languages (and I had noticed a few problematic points). This is all standard deontology.
