"a côté" - "by comparison" ?...
and so on...
If you aim to make a word-to-word translation then this version isn't bad, but I always thought that it's more important to explain a sense.
I'm working on a poem-like translation of this song but only French->Russian, my English isn't so good to make a poem-like one.

It is obvious for everyone to see, who's the N° 1 of stupid posters, but the N° 0 to prove his abilities, Miss Litvinov.
The 1 star evaluation is wrong.
The translation/interpretation is fine and given by a user that is new to the forum with 0 contributions is worth nothing.
I doubt that you're able to even evaluate the translation's quality, as you arn't even able to spell your name in way for everyone to read, little Miss Litvinov :-(

I don't understand how someone can see it as mechanical translation ! I didn't find any major fault ...

I agree with "A côté", but otherwise the translation is fine.
les eaux troubles des lendemains is translated right too, I know it's supposed to be 'murky...' but the meaning wasn't lost. 1 start = the whole entire thing was done using GT or something similar. If you're only pointing out 2-3 things here, then comment with corrections or suggestions. Don't give 1 star outright and then complain that the translation is bad.
Looks like mechanical translation..
