Instead of warmth - there's green glass,
Instead of fire we have smoke,
The day is snatched from the calendar grid,
The red sun burns down,
The day burns out along with it,
Shadow falls on the flaming city.
"Changes!" - our hearts request,
"Changes!"- our eyes request,
In our laughter and in our tears,
And in the pulsing of our veins:
"Changes! We're waiting for changes!"
Electric light continues our day,
And a box of matches is empty,
But in the kitchen gas is burning like a blue flower,
Cigarettes in the hands, tea on the table,
This scheme is simple,
And there is nothing more, everything is inside us.
"Changes!" - our hearts request,
"Changes!"- our eyes request,
In our laughter and in our tears.
And in the pulsing of our veins
Changes! We are waiting for changes!
We can't boast wisdom of eyes
And skilled hand gestures,
We don't need it all to understand each other,
Cigarettes in the hands, tea on the table,
That's how the circle closes,
And suddenly we get scared to change anything.
