Косуль - это чтобы Смерть (которая - он) на две ноги поставить? )))
Я бы открывающую скобку всё же перед словом "дрожу" поставила (и тире после слова "постель").

Пинхас, может, я чего не понимаю, но для меня "косуль" - это изобретённое Вами слово мужского рода от "косуля". )))
А то, что Эмили на косулю похожа - да, что-то есть, Вы правы.
