I love you

Fine, there where
Other ways to separate
Some glass splinters
May have helped us
In this bitter silence
I decided to forgive
The mistakes we might make
When we are loving too much

Fine, the little girl
In me often demanded you
Almost like a mother
You tucked me up, protected me
I've stolen from you that blood
The one that we should not have shared
Out of words and dreams
I want to scream

Refrain:
I love you, I love you
Like a madman, like a soldier
Like a movie star
I love you, I love you
Like a wolf, like a king
Like a man who's not me
You see, i love you that way

Fine, I trusted you
All my smiles, all my secrets
Even those which only a brother
Is the secret guardian of
In this house made of stone
Devil was watching us while we were dancing
i wanted so much the war
Of our bodies, who were in peace

Refrain:
I love you, i love you
Like a madman, like a soldier
Like a movie star
I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you
Like a wolf, like a king
Like a man who's not me
You see, i love you that way

You see, I love you that way

te réclamait -> past tense

Tu me bordais -> here it rather means "you tucked me in" (like a loving mother)

À bout de mots -> "à bout de"' means "out of" (after having exhausted all...) like in "à bout de souffle" -> out of breath

un homme que je ne suis pas -> technically that's possible, but I think it's about her being a woman, so rather "a man, which I am not"

You just answered a whole bunch of questions I had about those lyrics! It's one of my favourite songs and it's been a while since I translated it (I hadn't finished studying French yet), but I'm definitely going to make the corrections you suggested. Thanks!
