I remember translating this song in English before, but my question here is if you could maybe explain a little more on the word "Salerosa"? I've only every heard it used as someone who is witty/charming.

Hello, Ellen, I thought of "Spice Girls", the character being the same. Salerosa means attractive in a peculiar catchy way, a girl "who's got it", not necessarily beautiful. But I think there's a pun here, he might have had in mind a girl who sells spices and salt, I thought of a gipsy girl in a market in Malaga. Sort of Esmeralda. :)
